At Tennessee Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery we understand it can be a little overwhelming when your pet needs dental care beyond your primary care veterinarian. We do not want you to be uncomfortable bringing your pet into our office, so we encourage you to call and ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable before scheduling a consult with Dr. Stein. Unfortunately, we do not give procedure estimates over the phone. Due to the nature of dentistry and each patient’s particular needs we tailor each treatment plan to give every patient exactly what they need for their long term success.
Preparing For a Consult
Our office will call you the day before your pet’s consultation and you will be asked to fast your pet the morning of their appointment. We have you do this in order to be prepared for a procedure should your pet need one and you elect to proceed with Dr. Stein’s recommendation. Before seeing your pet, our office will obtain your pet’s medical history in order to be fully prepared and informed for their consult and possible procedure. After a consult and procedure Dr. Stein will speak with your veterinarian about your pets care.
At Tennessee Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery we do require payment on the day of service. We accept all major credit cards and cash.

On the day of your pets procedure we do collect a deposit of 60% of the high end of the estimate that you are given before deciding on your pets procedure. This deposit will be applied to your final invoice.
